Mercedes-Benz Türk Facility&Energy Management Department is looking for a Civil Engineer to work at the MBT Head Office Campus.
This position will be responsible for facility maintenance and operations, including the management of an in-house blue-collar maintenance team and construction and infrastructure investment projects.

The role plays a key part in ensuring the sustainable, safe, and efficient operation of campus buildings and infrastructure, while supporting short-, medium-, and long-term investment planning in line with business needs and technological developments.

What You Can Expect:

Facility Maintenance & Operations

• Managing and coordinating facility maintenance and operation activities for campus buildings and infrastructure
• Leading and supervising a 6-person blue-collar maintenance team
• Planning and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensuring business continuity, safety, and compliance with internal standards
• Coordinating external service providers for maintenance and repair works
• Supporting continuous improvement activities related to facility efficiency and sustainability

Construction, Infrastructure & Investment Projects

• Preparing construction project scopes based on requests from internal departments
• Conducting feasibility studies, budgeting, and investment planning for superstructure and infrastructure projects
• Coordinating and managing design works with external design and consultancy companies
• Preparing cost estimates and quantity take-off studies
• Coordinating civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines during tendering and construction phases
• Preparing bills of quantities, technical and administrative specifications, and tender documents
• Providing technical support to the purchasing department during tender processes
• Acting as the MBT representative in projects executed with contractor companies
• Conducting site inspections for ongoing construction works
• Preparing progress payment reports and controlling contractor performance
• Coordinating provisional and final acceptance processes and following up on deficiencies
• Ensuring compliance with legal regulations and managing application processes with official institutions

That’s Why You Are a Match:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in industrial facilities, campus buildings, or large-scale corporate environments
• Strong experience in both site and office engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• High experience in facility maintenance and operations 
• Proven team leadership experience, preferably managing blue-collar teams
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in critical situations
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Experience with SAP
• Fluent in English
