Why you matter in this role

 

You sit at the heart of the new Contract Manufacturing partnership with Otokar, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, information, and inventory between the two organizations. As this operating model represents largely uncharted territory for our organization, you will be instrumental in establishing robust processes, building effective cross-company collaboration, and creating the operational foundation required for long-term success.

By driving logistics excellence and inventory accuracy, you will play a key role in mitigating transition risks, safeguarding operational continuity, and helping MBT realize the full potential of the Contract Manufacturing agreement with Otokar.

 

What you can expect

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee material deliveries to the Otokar warehouse (JIT, batch, and Kanban materials) as well as return processes; ensure effective coordination between all relevant parties.

· Manage and resolve material discrepancies occurring during Otokar goods receipt operations, including shortages, overages, and incorrect deliveries, and make necessary operational decisions.

· Facilitate information flow and coordination between Otokar and MBT Warehouse, Planning/Disposition, Accounting, and Controlling departments.

· Identify equipment and facility requirements for Otokar operations within the Spare Parts Warehouse, initiate procurement requests, and implement warehouse layout improvements.

Systems & Process Management:

· Execute and monitor all warehouse transactions through the SAP EWM system, ensuring data accuracy and operational compliance.

· Define, develop, and monitor relevant KPIs to measure operational performance.

· Identify system enhancement and process improvement needs; coordinate requests with the IT department, conduct tests, and support implementation.

Inventory Management:

· Support and coordinate year-end inventory activities, ensuring proper planning and execution.

· Be responsible for the inventory value accuracy and inventory management of MBT materials located at Otokar facilities.

 

That’s why you are a match

Required

· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Experience with SAP EWM and SAP SD modules.

· Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

· Willingness and ability to travel.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

 

Nice to Have

 

· Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material flow processes.

· Project management experience, particularly in cross-functional or supply chain initiatives.
