What You Can Expect:

• Reference part and tool cost calculations for purchased parts of Bus
• Technical analysis and approval of supplier tools and fixtures (new and changes)
• Collaboration in global product projects to derive and achieve target costs based on technical data
• Concept evaluations on new product projects, support of development, purchasing and production planning
• Ensure cost transparency and optimization by means of cost breakdown, supplier evaluation for parts and tools
• Support of the industrialization, tool management and new supplier evaluation processes
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements in work efficiency, know-how exchange
• Lead and coordinate project groups, task force activities for target achievement

That’s Why You Are a Match:

• University degree in mechanical or a related engineering department
• Excellent command of German and/or English
• Experience in development and manufacturing of interior parts (production methods for plastics, wood, composites, diff. metals, etc.)
• Experience and interest in negotiation with suppliers
• Leadership experience in international projects
• No travel restrictions
