What you can expect

• Design and develop assembly and welding fixtures, gauges, and handling devices for bus body and component manufacturing.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings in NX, ensuring design quality and compliance with internal standards.
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure precise fit, alignment, and interchangeability of parts and fixture elements according to ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
• Perform structural and mechanical feasibility analyses (strength, stiffness, ergonomics, safety).
• Collaborate with production and process engineering teams in Sakarya to optimize fixture concepts for manufacturability, cost, and maintainability.
• Participate in prototype builds, on-site testing, and commissioning activities at the production plant.
• Manage design documentation, BOMs, and engineering changes in coordination with R&D standards.
• Communicate design concepts and technical solutions effectively within R&D and cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, ergonomics, and quality standards during the design and implementation phase.
• Support internal or external manufacturing of fixtures through design clarification, follow-up, and technical validation.
• Continuously improve fixture design methodologies and contribute to standardization of tooling practices.

That’s why you are a match

Required

• Experience in NX (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, and DMU modules).
• Graduate of technical high school
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and its application in fixture and component design.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, dynamics, materials, and manufacturing processes (machining, welding, sheet metal).
• Experience with FEA or strength analysis tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of industrial safety, ergonomics, and technical drawing standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate between R&D and production teams.
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

• Experience with customer-specific projects in the automotive industry.
