What You Can Expect:

 As the homologation team in Turkey, we are a part of the international homologation department within a global R&D organization; with our homologation headquarters in Germany, spanning to Turkey and Brazil. Our mission as a global homologation organization is to make MB Trucks vehicles & powertrains audit-proof worldwide and drive future regulations for our products. Our main responsibilities in the homologation organization Turkey are obtaining system approvals/certificates and performing CoP (Conformity of Production) activities for EU, TR, and other target markets. The candidate will be responsible for a number of technical regulations (UN-ECE, EU) and should be able to:

• Create all necessary homologation related documentation to obtain system approvals for Mercedes-Benz Trucks on time.
• Follow the Regulation movement/interpretations and take necessary actions in order to implement technical requirements in coordination with R&D and other related departments.
• Coordinate homologation scopes with technical services and approval authorities.
• Negotiate derogations with approval authorities and technical services, and determine how to conduct homologation tests
• Make relevant preparation for system testing in coordination with R&D and other related departments. 
• Consult Turkish sales team for homologation issues if necessary. 

That’s Why You Are a Match:

• Graduation from Engineering fields (Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, etc.)
• Experience in homologation 
• Good written & oral communication skills in English, German is a plus.
• Knowledge of UN-ECE/EU/EC regulations is a plus to interpret new scopes/changes/updates with respect to technical requirements.
• Knowledge of cabin interior/exterior, safety belt anchorage, restraint systems & their UN ECE regulations is a plus.
• Project management, job prioritization, and multi-tasking skills are required for the daily international business
• Able to work in international/multicultural environment and to travel both domestic and abroad
