What you can expect

• Lead & Negotiate: Lead and execute high-impact negotiations within your procurement scope, focusing on lead time, cost, and quality to deliver maximum value.
• Contract Management: Secure competitively priced, reliable, and long-term contracts with an optimal supplier base.
• Strategic Development: Apply and contribute to forward-looking procurement strategies to meet future business and innovation needs
• Optimization: Analyze procurement needs and processes to evaluate and optimize our extensive supplier portfolio.
• Global Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional and global teams to synchronize local operations with global standards.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive strategy application.

Required

• A university degree in Engineering.
• A solid understanding of the automotive industry and the supplier landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• A team-player mindset with strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a hands-on attitude.
• Advanced level of MS Office applications.
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven tools and automation to streamline business processes, optimize data analysis, and support strategic decision-making.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with a problem-solving approach in daily work.
• Excellent time management and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in German.
• Previous exposure to global procurement projects or system transformations.
