In this role you will

• Support activities in new product projects (e.g. New Cabin Project)
• Analyze the procurement markets, evaluate suppliers and determinate supplier awardings
• Adopt appropriate procurement strategies to secure better prices
• Participate at intensive cooperation with our global organizations
• Prepare and execute negotiations for the responsible procurement scopes in terms of on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company
• Develop the material group and definition / creation of supplier strategies
• Ensure competitive material costs within the global market by using the best / suitable methods during the development phase and entire life cycle.

You will fit in perfectly if you

• Have completed an university degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Have know-how in automotive market and supplier landscape
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Are able to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers
• Practice MS Office applications in advanced level
• Bring commercial and financial awareness
• Are an influencing team-player with strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, excellent time management and a hands-on attitude
• Bring problem-solving approach in daily work
• Are ready for business trips (local and international).
