Purpose

As a key member of our Productive Purchasing organization, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for assigned material groups within the truck business. In this role, you will focus on achieving optimal cost, quality and delivery performance while fostering strong supplier partnerships and supporting new product development.

What you can expect

• Lead and execute negotiation processes for assigned procurement scopes to optimize costs, lead times and quality performance;
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies, supplier roadmaps and mid- to long-term supplier portfolios;
• Conduct procurement market analyses, evaluate supplier capabilities and execute structured supplier evaluations to support awarding decisions;
• Collaborate closely with international procurement teams and actively participate in Buyer workshops to leverage global synergies;
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering projects through RFQ preparations, cost breakdown analyses and early supplier involvement;
• Monitor supplier performance continuously and drive cost, quality and delivery improvement activities across the entire product life cycle;
• Conduct domestic and international supplier visits, audits and cross-location workshops.

That’s why you are a match

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration;
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in procurement within a production or industrial environment;
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken);
• Strong ability to read, interpret and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and BOMs (Bill of Materials);
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel;
• Strong analytical mindset, structured problem-solving skills, and excellent cross-functional collaboration capabilities;
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for supplier visits and global team workshops.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration;
• Professional experience in productive purchasing within the automotive industry;
• Knowledge of German (spoken and written);
• In-depth understanding of automotive production processes and the Turkish supplier landscape;
• Familiarity with international, cross-location teamwork and global procurement structures.
