What you can expect:
- Design and development of cab interior (Focus on steering column, steering console, accelerator & brake pedals) components globally for Mercedes-Benz Trucks as well as continuous improvement until their final release and further optimization according to test and field complaints
- Working on technical side of local & global projects and series taking care of the defined process steps and timeline.
- Provide technical assistance and support for trouble shooting in the production areas.
- Taking care of local & global quality issues by considering series production
- Lead and support the national and international suppliers from engineering point of view
- Consider customer benefit, cost targets and technical progress to assure competitiveness of our products in target markets
- Participation in meetings within Mercedes Benz Türk A.S. and Daimler Truck AG as a part of global development organization.
That’s why you are a match:
- University degree in Mechanical and Material Engineering or similar areas (B.Sc., MSc., PhD)
- Ability to organize and manage projects while engaging with internal counterparts and meet system requirements
- Intercultural competence, good communication skills, cooperation and team-work abilities
- Ability to apply systematic and analytic methods of problem solving to make evidence based technical decisions that are safe, functional, cost effective and validated
- Very good command in English
Nice to Have:
- Expertise in the field of truck component design: good knowledge in CAD-Tools, NX-Usage, Smaragd, EDS/BCS, etc.
- Knowledge and experience over truck product portfolio of MB Trucks, competence in development methods & tools
- Very good command in German
