What You Can Expect

• You will be globally responsible for developing wiring harnesses for current and future vehicle projects, applying an end-to-end approach for both low-voltage and high‑voltage systems in Mercedes‑Benz and Setra buses.

• You will design and model the best possible high voltage & low voltage wiring harnesses respectively optimum routing paths for our modern future-oriented omnibuses.
• You decide on required wiring harness components optimally under technical and economic aspects.
• You create/maintain data models in one of the most modern tools and integrate 3D wiring harness geometries with circuit diagrams for efficient wiring harness development and rapid variant derivation with optimal routing paths.
• You accompany the entire development cycle from the idea to the finished product.
• You will take part in control discussions with the subsequent departments, provide support in the event of queries and coordinate feedback to other departments as the central contact person

That’s Why You Are a Match

• Graduate degree in Electrics/Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive sector preferably in high and low voltage wiring harness development.
• Good knowledge of automotive electrics/electronics and processes, methods and tools such as PREEVision, Siemens NX, Mentor Graphics, Ldorado
• Ability to work in a team and high commitment, communication skills and customer orientation

• Very good command of English and/or German is a must.
