What You Can Expect:

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) with complete vehicle models as well as components and substructures to evaluate their stiffness, strength and durability
• Building up finite element models, interpretation and evaluation of the obtained results
• Optimization of parts/components based on the analysis results
• Close cooperation with design and testing departments, coordination of the required design changes, testing conditions, measurement points
• Cooperation with other global R&D centers of Daimler Truck AG (Germany, Brazil, USA, Japan, India)
• Development and application of innovative simulation methods to improve the accuracy of the results

That’s Why You Are a Match:

• Experience in FEA
• M.Sc or Ph.D degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field
• Very good command of English, German would be an assent
• Profound knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) and CAE tools (ABAQUS, ANSA, MEDINA, PERMAS, …)
• Strong ability to cooperate and work in a team, ability to integrate, analytical thinking and target oriented working skills
