Why you matter in this role

Leading critical quality problems and processes in collaboration with all stakeholders (domestic and foreign suppliers, colleagues, various production sites).

What you can expect

•Investigation of complex product- and process-related quality problems with purchased parts from Turkish suppliers affecting MBT and its European production network. Initiation of sustainable improvement measures on-site, thereby ensuring the quality of purchased parts on behalf of the cross-site supplier management organization.

•Responsible for the central creation of line complaints with foreign suppliers and tracking of the applicable quality measures with the respective purchased parts quality staff

•Direct contact person for the organization, coordination and support of production actions for critical scopes, especially regarding the engine and powertrain (self-reporting quality issues, serial complaint, repair)

•Organizing and conducting regular communication meetings with Turkish/foreign suppliers and tracking ongoing quality issues.

•Conducting periodic supplier evaluations and plausibility checks of the results

•Developing and implementing methods, standard processes and procedures for the quality complaint process.

That’s why you are a match

Required

• Completed university studies in Mechanical, Automotive, Materials, Industrial Engineering or a comparable degree (BSc/MSc/Dipl.-Ing.).
• Experience in quality assurance processes and requirements/standards (e.g., VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP and 8D problem-solving methodology...)
• Excellent English and German skills, both spoken and written.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, data analysis and presentation techniques.
• Knowledge of technical drawings and manufacturing technologies
• Ability to Teamwork and high integration skills
• Goal-oriented action and analytical thinking skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills, a confident demeanor in technical discussions and negotiations with teams and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel if required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with the SAP Q - Module is an advantage.
• Experience with quality management in the automotive industry.
• Completed military service is an advantage for male applicants.
• Certification as a Lead Auditor according to VDA 6.3 is an advantage.
