Job Description

• You design and model the best possible wiring harnesses or optimal routing paths for our modern, future-oriented buses.
• You design the necessary wiring harness components in an optimal manner from both a technical and economic perspective.
• You design customer-specific (KSW) wiring harnesses for the raised-floor vehicles being built at the Neu Ulm site.
  • You check the input data provided by the specialist team to the wiring harness team for completeness.
  • You design the wiring harness through circuit diagrams and wiring harness diagrams in the PREEvision system based on the circuit sketch diagrams provided by the specialist team and the additional information included in the order.
  • You ensure compliance with noırmative requirements when creating circuit and wiring harness diagrams.
  • You provide timely feedback regarding the completion of the relevant order.
  • You take on the role of representative and coordinator for orders in PREEvision and communicate with development service providers working both in the PEER system and in GOLE/LDorado.

• You create/manage data models using some of the most modern tools and integrate 3D wiring harness geometries with circuit diagrams for efficient wiring harness development and quick variant derivation with optimal routing paths.
• You accompany the entire development cycle from the idea to the finished product.
• You participate in regular meetings with subsequent departments, support with queries, and coordinate feedback to other specialist departments as the central contact person on-site.
• You create approvals for the wiring harnesses in coordination with your internal and external partners.

Qualifications
You have:

• A degree in electrical/electronic engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics,
• Several years of professional experience in the automotive industry, preferably in high and low-voltage wiring harness development,
• Good knowledge of vehicle electronics/electrics and processes, methods, and tools such as PREEVision, Mentor Graphics, E3.Cable, or Ldorado,
• Knowledge of the object-oriented approach in data model creation and variant creation,
• Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken,
• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
