Job Description

• Lead and support SAP PP/MM processes across implementation, production support, and enhancement projects within Manufacturing, Automotive, and other discrete/repetitive production industries
• Work with S/4HANA environments, particularly MRP Live activation and configuration
• Design and maintain master data elements such as Bill of Materials, alternate BOMs, routings, rate routings, work centers, capacity planning, and CAPP calculations
• Manage PP Variant Configuration processes including classes, characteristics, and material master classification
• Integrate SAP PP with non-SAP shop floor systems involving production and planned orders
• Troubleshoot interface issues involving file-based transfers, SQL, SFTP, SAP PI, or IDocs in connection with shop floor systems
• Ensure strong integration between PP and other modules such as SD, MM, WM
• Support cross-functional scenarios involving SD, FI-CO, PP, QM; guide ABAP developers for technical issue resolution
• Analyze, evaluate, and resolve SAP tickets including configuration, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for enhancements and system design updates
• Coordinate with users during testing and issue resolution activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, engineering or similar disciplines ​
• 5–6+ years of experience as SAP PP/MM Functional Consultant across implementations, support, and enhancement projects
• Expertise in SAP PP configuration including MRP, production versions, serial numbers, in-house processing times, planning calendars, MTS/MTO flows
• Experience in Repetitive Manufacturing setup (planning table, REM confirmations, PPR)
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA, especially MRP Live activation and configuration
• Strong command of BOMs, routings, work centers, capacity planning, and CAPP
• Proven ability to troubleshoot interface issues (File, SQL, SFTP, SAP PI, IDoc)
• Knowledge of MES, master data systems, and financial records processing
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Fluent in English and German (optional)
