The Cost Accounting Specialist plays an important role in the financial operations of the company by ensuring the timely and accurate calculation and follow up of Inventory. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively production departments.

Job Description:

• Responsible for Inventory processes and valuation
• Follow up and analyse of Inventory values&units and related deviations
• Coordination of physical Inventory with related departments and auditors
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to good movements
• Analysing the system interfaces between logistic and finance modules and communicating the problems
• Reconciling MM and Finance modules related to inventory in SAP system
• Prepare reports related Inventory volume and units to management level
• Performing  of month and year-end closing activities. (MM Ledger)
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to Inventory valuation.
• Participate in audits to provide necessary documentation and support
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements related to cost accounting
• Leverage accounting software and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics
• 3-6 years work experience in controlling / finance area
• High analytical skills, structured way of thinking and working, coordination skills
• Capability to cope with tight deadlines and adaptive to flexible working hours
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, German is an asset
• Knowledge and experience of SAP FI/CO module (especially P&L and BPC) and Business Objects (Mirror) and power BI preferable.
