Paralegal in the Intellectual Property Department

The main tasks of this function are defined as follows:

• Processing of all incoming documents, especially for patents, trademarks and designs, in accordance with national and international legal regulations
• Independent determination, calculation and monitoring of legal and official deadlines in domestic and foreign proceedings
• Independent processing of patent, trademark and design applications, including the subsequent corresponding procedures in close coordination with the technical and specialist staff responsible for the topics
• Communication with inventors/designers, departments and lawyers (national and international) taking into account national and international legal regulations
• Timely payment of annual fees or renewal fees
• Supporting processing of group-wide inventor remuneration
• Initiate all necessary work steps
• Data maintenance in our IP IT system
• Ensuring data quality through database queries and data cleansing
• Participation in the continuous improvement of IP processes

The position is located in İstanbul, but the candidate will be directly work for Daimler Truck AG in Germany.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in related fields, you have trained as a patent/trademark paralegal (m/f/d) or have many years of experience in the administration of intellectual property rights in an industrial patent, trademark or design department

• Experience and specific knowledge: Knowledge of the formal requirements, deadlines, fees and procedures for patent applications and dispute proceedings at home and abroad
• Linguistic proficiency: Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
• Temporary Contract: 1,5 Years
