We are looking for Export and Import Specialist (Aksaray - Temporary) who will join Customs and Foreign Trade organization of Mercedes-Benz Türk as part of our dedicated Truck customs operations team in Aksaray and will be responsible for the import processes in a very dynamic and highly challenging environment. 

What You Can Expect: 

• Perform all types of import/export transactions for specific product group for Aksaray Truck plant coming via road/air/sea freight and coordinate the transport companies, customs brokers, authorized customs broker and foreign suppliers in relation to customs documents and customs clearance process
• Decide on importation regime, payment type and other necessary variables before importation based on internal processes, rules and legislation
• Create and send and follow up job orders to customs brokers for his/her import/export scope, by using SAP system
• Follow up related import/export permissions and the overall import/export processes and ensure that it is completed in due time (obtain & check necessary documents, coordinate customs broker, accompany authorities in case of physical inspections, archiving, check related expenses and approve over the system etc.)
• Prepare annual, monthly, weekly and daily reports for import operations
• Ensure alignment of import procedures with company policies and laws, policies, customs and foreign trade regulations

That’s Why You Are a Match:

• University degree in Foreign Trade and/or Business Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, etc.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in foreign trade area and eager to deepen his/her knowledge in a very complex and dynamic environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and/or German
• Advanced knowledge in MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Hard working, detail oriented, well-organized, proactive, resilient, self-motivated, critical thinker, team player, good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in a demanding environment, due to high number and variety of daily transactions
• Assistant Customs Brokerage license is a plus
