Unimog Chassis Manufacturing Process Planning Engineer
For everyone who moves the world.
At Mercedes-Benz Türk, we develop and manufacture trucks and buses at our plants in Istanbul and Aksaray to shape the future of sustainable transportation.
We are an important part of Daimler Truck AG’s production and R&D network.
Everything we do contributes to a cleaner, safer, more efficient and more authentic future. We start by listening, move forward by creating solutions, lead with a long-term perspective and grow together!
Are you ready to become part of our global team that will continue to move the world?
Why you matter in this role:
When you join our Engineering team, you will not only plan Unimog chassis production; you will help shape the way people live, move and connect. Through this and similar situations, the work we do touches millions of lives every day.
From the first sketch to the moment our trucks hit the road, your ideas will help make transportation more sustainable, safer and more accessible for future generations.
This is exactly what makes us who we are! If you are curious, collaborative and eager to grow, a great opportunity awaits you to create solutions that move not only people, but also the world forward.
What you can expect from the position:
- Define the processes of Unimog chassis and component manufacturing lines.
- Plan and implement the required equipment.
- Carry out current capacity calculations and time studies.
- Prepare the necessary workflow and material flow plans for component manufacturing and Unimog chassis production.
- Select the components to be produced in the component manufacturing unit in a way that maximizes vehicle cost benefits, conduct wire studies, and prepare the necessary investment and documentation for implementation.
- Conduct global wire studies with Wörth Component Manufacturing, Supplier Management, Purchasing and Controlling.
- Plan Unimog chassis production processes for series and prototype production, integrate the necessary product changes, and coordinate with Wörth Development.
- Manage global projects related to Unimog and component manufacturing.
