What you can expect

 

  • Good knowledge and know-how of industrial electrical and automation systems.
  • Responsibility for electrical energy infrastructure, including medium/high-voltage systems, transformers, switchgear and distribution systems.
  • Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of UPS systems, emergency power systems and critical electrical infrastructure.
  • Developing and implementing preventive and planned maintenance routines for electrical, energy and facility systems.
  • Reacting effectively to breakdowns and failures in machinery, electrical systems and facility equipment.
  • Planning, coordinating and following up maintenance activities in two-shift production.
  • Ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of energy infrastructure and electrical systems.
  • Monitoring energy consumption and supporting initiatives to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.
  • Supporting and maintaining the ISO 50001 Energy Management System and contributing to continuous improvement activities.
  • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of company management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable electrical, occupational health and safety, environmental and energy regulations.
  • Coordinating maintenance activities with internal departments, external service providers and contractors.
  • Ensuring proper documentation of maintenance activities, technical changes, inspections and statutory controls.
  • Following technological developments related to energy management, electrical infrastructure, automation and industrial maintenance.
  • Cooperating with other Daimler Buses and Trucks plants to ensure common, standardized and compatible maintenance and energy management processes.
  • Supporting investment, modernization and improvement projects related to electrical infrastructure, energy systems and facility maintenance.
  • Contributing to maintenance budgeting, technical specifications, tenders and supplier evaluations when required.

 

That’s why you are a match

Required

  • Graduated from Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a relevant engineering department of a university.
  • High Voltage Electrical Responsibility Certificate / Authorization is required.
  • Having an Energy Manager Certificate issued by the Ministry of Energy and/or ISO 50001 certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in production and facility maintenance.
  • Strong experience with electrical energy infrastructure, transformers, medium/high-voltage systems, switchgear, distribution systems and UPS systems.
  • Experience with industrial automation systems and PLC/SCADA systems is an asset, particularly Siemens S7, WinCC, TIA Portal, PLC, SCADA and HMI.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in energy management and energy efficiency.
  • Experience with management systems, preferably ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
  • Experience in preventive, predictive and planned maintenance methodologies.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, breakdown management and contractor coordination.

 

Nice to Have

  • IT and industrial network knowledge is an asset.
  • Fluent in English; German is a bonus.
