Why you matter in this role

In this role, you are a critical contributor to ensuring the operational continuity and mechanical reliability of the Hoşdere production facility. Your expertise directly influences the performance of complex mechanical systems—ranging from building utilities and fluid installations to high‑precision equipment used in paint shops, KTL lines, and bonding processes. By managing corrective and preventive maintenance activities, analyzing failure modes, and implementing sustainable technical solutions, you safeguard the efficiency, safety, and availability of all mechanical infrastructures across the plant.

Your decisions impact every stage of the production lifecycle. Whether validating the commissioning of new mechanical installations, coordinating subcontractor activities, or auditing the performance of existing systems, you provide the technical assurance required for stable and compliant operations. Through your involvement in ISO 50001 energy and water efficiency initiatives, you further strengthen the facility’s resource performance and operational resilience.

Working closely with production, quality, logistics, development, and procurement teams, you act as the engineering interface that translates mechanical requirements into actionable and measurable outcomes. Your analytical approach, system-level perspective, and process discipline enable the facility to continuously improve its mechanical integrity—ensuring that every bus produced meets the highest standards of safety, durability, and engineering excellence.”

What you can expect

• Mechanical maintenance, repair and operation of all buildings and production processes at the Hoşdere bus production location,
• Managing incidental and periodic maintenance processes of all kinds of equipment belonging to mechanical moving systems and installations (fire, water, etc.) throughout the factory,
• Representing the unit in mechanical scopes in projects carried out throughout the facility, following up on scopes in mechanical matters
• Having expertise in mechanical scopes in complex paint shop processes, KTL facilities, flap coating and bonding building,
• Approval of the commissioning of the mechanical scopes (moving systems, installations, etc.) of newly constructed buildings in Hoşdere and subsequent follow-up of their operation and maintenance,
• Representation and follow-up of active actions in mechanical maintenance issues in ISO 50001 energy and water efficiency studies
• Coordinating and monitoring subcontractor employees within the scope of the work carried out, communicating directly with the production, quality, logistics, bus and truck development, purchasing, departments in the Hoşdere location and representing the department,

That’s why you are a match

Required

• Degree in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering (BSc/MSc/Dipl.-Ing.).
• Proficiency in SAP CFP Maintanance Module, MS Office, Autocad.
• At least 5 years of experience in especially automotive industry.
• Knowledge and experience of painting, surface treatment and bonding processes technologies
• Experience with production and facility maintenance with perspective of mechanical maintanance.
• Completed military service for male candidates.
• Fluency in English and/or German required.
• Ability to travel when needed.

Nice to Have

• Using SAP CFP module and mastering order processes,
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Successfully completed technical studies with work experience in the automotive industry
• Familiarity with international, cross-location teamwork.
