The Accounts Payable Specialist plays an important role in the financial operations of the company by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Job Description:

• Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper authorization.
• Process recurring invoices
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues related to invoices.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
• Reconciling vendor statements against company records.
• Prepare reports on accounts payable activity and outstanding balances as needed.
• Assist with the preparation of month and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies related to accounts payable.
• Participate in audits to provide necessary documentation and support.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements related to accounts payable.
• Leverage accounting software and tools to automate processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in related fields such as Business Administration, Economics
• Strong Turkish Uniform Chart of Account knowledge
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP (FI, MM, SD) is an asset
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Fluent in English, German is an asset.
