Financial Risk Management Specialist for Finance & Treasury

Take your next career step at Mercedes-Benz Türk with a global team that is one of the leading suppliers of trucks and buses and one of the world's largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles.

Reporting to the local Group Manager, you will provide key support to the business, ensuring accurate tracking and processing of all transactions. This is a hands-on role with responsibility and impact from day one.

Serving as the key partner for various business units in Mercedes-Benz Türk you will be a vital member of its finance-treasury team in Turkey, İstanbul, Hadımköy.

Job description

You will …

•            Provide letter of bank guarantees to business units.

•            Be responsible for managing asset letter of bank guarantees.

•            Provide necessary bank related documentation to sales departments.

•            Coordinate corporate guarantees in cooperation with business units and mother company.

•            Communicate and deal with banks for yearly banking fees and conclude a yearly agreement.

•            Be responsible for follow-up of treasury contracts signed with external partners, to enter and maintain them on local and global databases.

•            Monitor and report non-cash credit limits and risks at banks.

•            Ensure that functional and proper credit limits are maintained at banks.

•            Coordinate treasury departments’ user authorizations for internal, external systems and signatories.

•            Coordinate Information Security Management System controls and activities of treasury department.

Qualifications 

•            Graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or relevant fields.

•            Experience in treasury department of an industrial company for min 4 years.

•            Sound business management know-how in interaction of treasury in an industrial company with production, sales and export.  

•            Excellent command of both written and spoken English (German is an important asset).

•            Strong proficiency and excellent command in MS office applications; particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

•            Experience in developing interdepartmental workflows.

•            Experience in FI/CO modules of SAP.

•            Customer oriented mindset, high social competence, personal integrity, ability to work in a team.

•            Good communication and social skills
