Why you matter in this role

In this role, you play a key part in ensuring the success of SAP RISE platform operations within a global IT environment. By maintaining stable, compliant, and secure platform services, you enable critical business systems to run efficiently. Your contribution bridges infrastructure, security, and application needs while supporting large-scale cloud transformation and migration initiatives, directly impacting system quality, reliability, and business continuity. 

What you can expect:

• Ensure stable SAP RISE platform operations in line with defined standards and guidelines
• Define and govern shared services and provide technical consultancy after onboarding
• Act as the main point of contact for SAP RISE cloud architecture and SAP security topics
• Collaborate with SAP AG, DTAG Infrastructure & Security, and SAP Basis teams
• Drive onboarding of SAP systems by consulting application owners
• Coordinate platform-related topics within SAP RISE migration projects
• Enable strong collaboration across consultants, service providers, and IT teams
• Contribute to audits, system stability, and continuous efficiency improvements

Thats Why You Are a Match:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong expertise in SAP RISE technology areas including non-functional requirements, solution design, technology architecture, and infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of private cloud environments, including ECC to cloud migration, S/4HANA transformation, and digital transformation initiatives
• Minimum 5 years of SAP consulting experience, especially in SAP Basis security with end-to-end architectural design
• Strong background in Private Cloud (IaaS/PaaS), Data Center Services, Network, and Security
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform (minimum 2 years of experience)
• Very good English language skills

Nice to Have

• Microsoft Azure or other cloud platform certifications
• SAP S/4HANA and Cloud-related certifications
• Experience with smart field migration and large-scale transformation projects
• Familiarity with complex enterprise IT landscapes and integration scenarios
• German language skills
