Cost Engineering Trucks - Powertrain

Job Description:

• Reference part and tool cost calculations for purchased parts of trucks
•  Technical analysis, tracking and approval of supplier tools
• Collaboration in global product projects to derive and achieve target costs based on technical data
• Support of the industrialization and change management (AEI/AEMA)
• Ensure cost transparency and optimization by means of cost breakdown, supplier evaluation for parts and tools
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements in work efficiency, know-how exchange
• Lead and coordinate project groups, task force activities for target achievement

Qualifications:

• University degree in mechanical or a related engineering department
• Excellent command of German and/or English
• Experience in development and manufacturing of casting, forging, machining and/or vulcanization parts and tooling
• Experience and interest in negotiation with suppliers
• Leadership experience in international projects
• No travel restrictions
